Gudbury was born from a simple yet powerful concern—a mother’s desire to provide better nutrition for her children. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when families across the world became increasingly conscious about health and immunity, our Co-Founder, Shweta Jain, found herself asking a question that many mothers can relate to: “Can I truly trust what my children are consuming every day?” Coming from a Jain family and deeply committed to the values of purity, hygiene, and conscious living, she was not comfortable relying solely on commercially available products without knowing how they were prepared or what ingredients they contained. Determined to create a healthier alternative, she began experimenting at home with carefully selected ingredients. Using traditionally processed jaggery, premium seeds, dry fruits, and other thoughtfully chosen ingredients, she developed a nourishing formulation that prioritized both nutrition and taste. The first people to try the product were her own children. Soon, friends and family members began using it as well. The positive response was overwhelming. People appreciated not only the taste but also the care, quality, and thoughtfulness behind every ingredient. What started in a home kitchen soon grew into a larger vision. With the support of Co-Founder Ankit Jain, the idea evolved into Gudbury India Pvt. Ltd.—a brand dedicated to creating clean, consciously crafted, and trustworthy products for modern families.
